Curling at the cloud

Winter’s here, and that means our favorite pub pastime is back: curling! This month, we’re rebuilding our custom outdoor curling sheet beside the pub for the season. Starting in January (weather permitting) you’ll have two great ways to get out on the ice.

If the Farmer’s Almanac is right, we’re in for a great season. We can’t wait to hit the ice with you. BRING ON THE COLD!

Private Curling Lessons

Have a bigger group,  want a little more space to learn, or can’t do Saturdays? Book a private session with our instructor and enjoy the ice with just your crew. Reservations required.

Private Lessons

Because we curl outdoors, all sessions depend on the weather and may shift as conditions change.

A quick note: The curling sheet is not open for public use. Please stay off the ice unless you’re registered for a lesson or scheduled for league play.

League Structure

Every winter, Stormcloud hosts a 16-team Curling League where teams compete weekly for a chance to qualify for the end-of-season Stormcloud Bonspiel. Each team consists of four players, and the full season runs for eight weeks, beginning with a warm-up and instruction session, followed by six weeks of league play, and finishing with a tournament and celebration.

Schedule

Teams play once or twice per week depending on the rotating double-header schedule, always on the same designated league night. Games take place on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with start times that vary week to week.
